It’s that time of the year again. Yes, the holidays always bring out the best in people (besides Boxing Day shopping). There’s a greater sense of positivity and gratitude towards each person. As well, we’re thinking of others.

The fact we’re thinking of others is an important aspect of life. It shows how appreciative you are and how much you care about them. 

But it doesn’t have to be once a year, we can practice gratitude everyday. Ultimately creating a much happier and healthier mindset along the way.

As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.

I know I’m guilty of sometimes thinking negatively, however if you take a moment to think how grateful you are for the things in your life, it brings you to a much happier state of mind.

It doesn’t take much to be grateful, your attitude towards gratitude should be a primary thought process. By doing so, you’re in the moment and not giving a thought to anything negative. As positivity and negativity are a part of our lives, we choose how they affect us. 

Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude.
